Description:   Original Bauhaus table/desk lamp with angle function. Varnished light-green metal
               shade and base. Can be tilted from the base and the shade. Original paper label and
               fitted E26 bulb holder and original on/off switch. Newly wired.

Marks:         "BAG" Paper label (partially worn) on the inside of the shade. 

Condition:     Very good age related condition and fully functioning.

Other infor-  *Sigfried Giedion was a student at the Bauhaus Weimar under Walter Gropius and 
nation:        a forerunner of modern Architecture. He wrote many important works on the subject
               and 1928 he was co-founder of Congrès Internationaux d'Architecure Moderne (CIAM)
               with Le Cobusier and Helène de Mandrot. Giedion also initiated the MARS Group in
               the United Kingdom.
