Description:   Stylish pair of Art Deco coffee pots of varying sizes, designed by Gio Ponti for Art
               Krupp/Brndorf. Oval, straight bodies, slightly raised on base rim with elongated spout
               and handle. Hinged lid with characteristic knob. Solidly made of heavy duty polished
               nickel silver.

Other infor-   Krupp Berndorf as well as Christoffle, Boulenger from Paris and Koch & Bergfeld
mation:        manufactured catering ware for luxury liners and top hotels. Outstanding designers
               such as Fjerdingstad, Luc Lanel and Ponti were commissioned to design beautiful yet
               very high quality items for heavy duty use. These were not available in normal retailing.
               

Marks:         Marked underneath with "bear" logo and Berndorf Austria and capacity measure
               (30 and 50ml) and "Hermano Heiden"

Condition:     In good age related worn condition with nice surface polish and a couple of unoffending
               small dents only evident on close inspection. 

Sizes:         Larger pot 15cms high, smaller pot 12.5cm high (5.9 x 4.9")
